We started our day off with a fight with our silly new alarm system. It basically was honking at us for 30 minutes. Well, ok that is an exaggeration. It was like 3 minutes but it felt like eternity…
Once we figured out that little hiccup, we were on the road again. We decided to take the scenic route towards Vegas. The day before, we had driven to Big Pine and today we embarked on the second half of the journey through Death Valley. We stopped for a quick bite to eat where Jadon refused to eat and Sophie cried her way through lunch, but once we were back in the car everyone was content. I guess I can’t complain too much. I would rather have a fussy kiddo out of the car then in the car. Out of the car we have options to run around, distract and bounce the little. In the car, well, you get the picture and I am sure you know the feeling. So, here is me being grateful for my fussy kids and sharing a little bit of reality with you.
Other than a few tears, there was nothing too fancy about the day. We just enjoyed the drive through the mountains, desert and into the city.
