On our way out of Portland, we stopped in Brownsville, Oregon. What is in Brownsville? To be honest, not too much, but, there is one amazing family that lives there.
I finally got to meet Justin and Lynsey! We were extremely outnumbered by our kiddos, but it was blissful chaos. In fact, it reminded me of being at home in Kenya. Our home is always filled with laughter and games, so loved that the Nuccio clan finally got to be with the Hostetter crew.
I would like to give a shout out to Lynsey for being a mother of four. GIRRRRRRL. You make it look easy, so as soon as we become outnumbered with kids, I am calling you and Justin for some advice. Jadon keeps asking about his “friends”, so thank you to Evey, Nora, Grady and Lincoln for playing with our little boy. We will have to reenact this picture every time we come and visit! (although… it might be hard for me to keep carrying Sophie like that!) and we might have more kiddos to add to the picture.
We also are extremely honored to call you friends. Thank you for your discerning hearts and truly seeing my husband’s authenticity as he prepared to go back to Kenya in 2010. It has been a joy for me to be connected to so many genuine people, like you, through Sean.
Know there is always a hot cup of chai waiting for you in Kenya.
Until next time.
