After celebrating the big 90 with Momo, we packed up the next day and headed to College Station and Houston, TX. This was the first "official" leg of our East Coast drive. We needed to be in College Station as I had meetings for school. (For all who do not know... yes, I am in my doctorate program.) It is a little crazy, but I am loving every minute of it and excited for where it will take me.
So, as I was in meetings most of the day, Sean played daddy day care for me. I am also very blessed that my mom got to come and help out with Jadon. After two long days of meetings, face timing my kids during the day and "pumping" so Sophie could survive, we headed to Houston!
In Houston, we got to stay with the Blazer family. They are amazing and we are so thankful to call them friends. We got to share a couple of meals together and see our kiddos quickly become best friends. We also got to see many other families who are a part of a small group who has "adopted" Sean and I as family. It was a beautiful night of fellowship and community.
We are forever grateful of the love that was poured out onto us.
By the end of the week we stopped over in Dallas to say HEY to the Imani Collective staff and then headed to Denver, Colorado!
From there, we started our EAST COAST trek. Get ready.. HERE WE COME.
