The best part about Sunday mornings is heading to church to fellowship with others! It has been wonderful to be able to share our Sundays with many people over the last couple of weeks.
This week we were able to visit our good friends at The Vine Church LV.
We were blessed by the love, prayers and support we received. We are extremely thankful for all of you and cannot wait until we come visit again. In the meantime, we are excited to see you on our side of the world in Kenya, our door is always open!
We also were able to catch a quick bite to eat the following day with Shon-Mark and Jennifer Henry who planted The Vine Church in October 2013.
Fun story: Sean and I actually met Pastor Shon-Mark during our honeymoon.
We love to follow them on social media because it is absolutely amazing all the work they are doing in Las Vegas. If you are nearby, you should get involved with some of their outreaches.
On Sunday and Monday evening, we got to hang out with the Kornfield Krew.
It is really crazy how quickly things change. Four years ago, we were bringing in the 2014 new year on the Las Vegas strip together. Fast forward to present day, we were both trying to control our toddlers at a California Pizza Kitchen.
For all you parent’s out there who have toddlers, YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE.
Trust me. They are all crazy.
AND amazing news. Jadon officially found another two-year old that he gets along with. Ryker and Jadon became great buddies and were giving hugs by the end of the day.
I believe this is the hardest thing for me as a mother is witnessing Jadon go through transition every couple of days as we leave his “new friends” and head to the next city.
On the other side of things, it also brings me great joy to know that my little boy will have some amazing friends from all over the world. Some great penpal potential in the near future.
AND we can’t forget about the little one in the oven. The Kornfield Krew is growing and I am pretty pumped! Also, Sophie will be anxiously waiting to meet the little man. We can start the arranged marriages now. (just kidding… or am I?)
